The new range of recycled glass jewellery is from discarded sapphire gin bottles – the bottles are cleaned, broken and placed in a low energy rotary tumbler with course grit and water. The broken glass is tumbled for days on end, washed and back into the tumbler, this time using a fine polishing grit and again tumbled for days. It is always a great surprise when the tumbler is opened, the amazing shapes appearing before your eyes, you see so much of nature evolving from glass.
The individual pieces of glass are selected, submerged in water and drilled using diamond tip drills. The glass is cleaned and is now ready for the creative process. Each piece is individual depending on the original break.
All chains and clasps are nickel free and tarnish resistant. See the new range on the featured products page!
